When Garbage opened up for U2...

Does anyone have a setlist of what they sang? Or know of where I could get some mp3s of them live (from there...any one of the U2 concerts). In fact, same goes for No Doubt...

And can someone please explain what Cherry Lips is about....I think i know. I think it's obvious,but I just. It's odd to write a song about...what I think...???

At the Garbage show I went to I think Shirley said the song was about a friend of hers....don't know if that helps.

Much as I love V 2.0, I don't really like the songs on their own nearly as much as the first and third albums.

As in I like taking in the album as a whole, but I don't really get into the songs when I hear them on the radio. Except Special. But I Think I'm Paranoid et al I have to hear in context of the album

Okaaaay.. the first time I ever heard it, Shirley introduced it as a song about her friend, who had a very, very messed up life. I got the song mostly figured out, but a couple weeks ago I was looking at a old magazine I got last fall, with Garbage on the cover with an interview, and I believe Shirley described what Cherry Lips was about. Unfortunately I don't have the magazine with me, but what I remember was that she was reading a book this guy wrote, and it was about his life -- he had a really (as she said) messed up life, and I believe he was gay as well. There were a lot more details, but I'll have to type it up later when I have the magazine.

That is what I thought it was about too. I'm not sure about the prostitute part, but I'm pretty sure about the transvestite part.
