Yes, despite his ill-conceived rankings posted tonight, he still deserves the Living Legend award of all awards as the interferencer who has had the greatest impact on the web-based community known as www.interference.com.

No one has caused more strife, wreaked more havoc, or distributed more wrath upon this domain than he, the legendary deathbear, And his actions have made this place a battlefield of ideals and egoes while also giving it a familiar grace and a fun-filled destination.

Yes, folks, I am talking about zoomerang96, the sole individual whose earlier fundamentalist postings attracted one of our greatest debaters, the legendary Melon. Also, the one who surpassed the prophet rougerum in the total number of handles/screennames. The one who first conceived the idea of posting critiques of other people's post, despite the fact that those people had done nothing to harm him. The interferencer who thinks more of himself than Johnny Bravo does of his own diamond self.

Ladies and gentlemen, I am talking about he whom you know as the Silvertoned one, the
man with the golden voice, Professional Lunch Eaters' Man-of-the-Year, Shakespeare's worst nightmare, the inventor of Pizza-In-A-Cup, master of the King's language, he who walks the rows...none other than zoomerang96, Cow of the Seas, deathbear, Flag Pole Pear, Quano Abidji-Achibi, Supreme Cutlas, Hent the Power Bear, Arabian Pre-Packaged Bear, Red Ships of Scalla-Fiesta and whatever other stupid, conceited name he came up with in his ego overload.

And now, just before he goes into exile in Europe along with the former Prime Minister of Pakistan (where he claimed U2 was performing), he posts a thread which insults all of us and the spirit of community in this forum.

I concede: I allowed his vile demeanor to influence me in putting into action a horrid scheme I concocted months ago. I am still trying to forgive myself for that.

So, friends, let us lift our glasses and celebrate the new day dawning in interference (and geographically North America, but our European friends will now be cursed with his presence).

Is this a tribute, a fond farewell? Or is it more of a joyous expulsion of goofy little bear-man with a Sybil complex? I ask each of you to decide for yourselves.

I remember being interested in Interference first because of U2.

I remember being interested in Interference secondly because of deathbear posts. When I first started reading the board last school year, I remember my eyes reading some of his posts and interupting class silence with bursts of laughter. I remember getting in trouble for saying "what the fuck?" out loud at times. Thanks you fiend!
