Flower Child is a decent song, but I can see(along with most b-sides) why it was left of. The main problem with Flower Child is that it is way way too long and meandering for this light hearted type of song. It's close to 5 minutes when it should be about 3 and a half minutes. If they cut it down, it could be great.
