Well, we could turn this into a productive thread since i posted that in the wrong forum.

What is your favorite U2 cover?

I'll take Paint it Black

'Night & Day'. I think it's the perfect example of a complete musical reinterpretation. They took the song's inherently dark lyrics and gave it a completely new home that fit the tone. And, it was the first sign that something like Achtung Baby was in the offing.

I totally agree..

When that song came out, I was so stunned. It wasn't the U2 I knew from the JT and Rattle and Hum Days.

actually, im going to have to change my mind on this one.

my favorite would have to be when Bono sang the beatles' In My Life at their buffalo concert during elevation.....

All Along The Watchtower on the Lovetown tour was MINDBLOWING.

Suspicious Minds - love Edge singing
Dancing Barefoot - just something sexy about the whole presentation of that song
Everlasting Love

Dancing Barefoot
Dancing Queen
Unchained Melody
Everlasting Love
Pop Musik
Satellite Of Love
and Cant Help Falling In Love (Live)
