Since we're doing favorite songs from albums, how 'bout Passengers? My favorite is Miss Sarajevo, with Slug a close 2nd. There are also several other good songs on Passengers. When I'm driving, Let's Go Native is awesome to listen to.

Definitely "Theme From Let's Go Native". I just  the drooms!

A close second would be "Elvis Ate America". So trippy.

Now I wanna listen to the cd. :cute:

1. "Slug"
2. "Your Blue Room"
3. "Miss Sarajevo"
4. "Beach Sequence"

...then I can't put them in order anymore. :)

Miss Sarajevo!

If I could sing that Pavorotti bit, it would be the theme song of every one of my showers!

...but I can't, so it is Wake Up Dead Man! ;)

Wow, I'm amazed at all the Your Blue Room lovers. I had no idea it was such a well liked song. It's kicking Miss Sarajevo's ass in the poll.
Other songs I dig on Passengers are Always Forever Now and United Colours. I thought Passengers was a great album, but I'm glad it wasn't an official U2 release. I thought that allowed for more experimentation. Of course, I file Passengers under U2. Does any of this make sense?

You're so right about. When I hear Pavorotti sing it brings chills to me.

 absolutely agree - it has the power of transporting me somewhere else - unfailingly more blissful.

I voted for Miss Sarajevo but Slug, Let's Go Native and Beach Sequence are also wonderful and could have very well deserved my vote. But then I could have voted for the whole album as I adore it from start to end.

I picked Elvis Ate America. I love the words and humor.

Miss Sarajevo is the most famous with Your Blue Room almost as famous, so I'm not surprised they're dominating this poll. They're great songs, but Elvis Ate America is unlike most U2 recordings and therefore a novelty. How can you not pick it? :(
