The Passengers, without a doubt. I've got absolutely nothing agaist The Daltons, but...I mean, they never even cut an album...! The Passengers never made me laugh at all, but their music spoke to me a way The Daltons' brand never really could. Truly, though, both stand in the pantheon of the all-time greats of 20th Century recorded music. They were musical giants, each--capable in their brief existences of more than most bands together for decades or longer. Perhaps someday we'll hear from them again, but until then, we wait in the company of our memories.
