alright, friends, fans, and family,
(all the cool people here at interference.com)

let's try that make-shift post now....
"Everything You Know Is Right"....

well, i was just wondering....
since we have so much we don't know or thought we knew but was mistaken or whatever,
how about what we actually do know?
i mean, i am sure there are some stuff that we learnt along the journey....
or some things we know by gut or intuition...
lessons along the way, pearls of wisdom, common-sense snippets that we could drop here on this post for the benefit of everyone... LOL
so go ahead! ;-)

give the rest of us here a clue-------
help us along (or amuse us!) ;-)

Alright people, Get your groove on!

P.S. i'll start the ball rolling.... my contribution is in my signature....

*ahem* I've learned that eating expired yogurt is a terrible, terrible thing (espcially when you're lactose intolerant)

and in chemistry experiments, if the TA says "Do not mix this and this...do not pour hot water in the beaker, etc..." there's usually a good reason behing it *BOOM!*

ice cream cures all

if you're ever out front of the Residence Commons at Carleton University in Ottawa and you see a grate in the ground sending warm air up through it, don't breathe in when you're over top of that grate 'cause it's ALL BAD!
and don't post threads on why previous threads were closed.

Do something nice for someone else-and don't tell anyone about it.

Practice humility

Cut yourself some slack.

Develop your compassion.

Think of your problems as potential teachers.

Seek first to understand.

Every day, tell at least one person something you like, admire, or appreciate about them.

Trust your intuition.

Thank the Lord-or whoever your 'higher power' is- every day for their help in just getting you through it.

Be as mean as possible to everyone on this forum.

Politeness is a sign of weakness.

If your thread gets closed, make sure you start a new one right away. Otherwise the mods will get mad.

Make sure you tell me how good I am every day by starting a thread about me in Lemonade Stand.

When you have a feeling about someone, assume your feelings. Tell her and don't be shy that you told her. If she turns you around, she's not the one. If she was, you'd already be talking with her. Believe in yourself, but also doubt of yourself. Wear no mask. Smile, it will naturally bring another smile on your face. Don't answer rudely to a rude person, cause if you do, he's "winning"...

call your mom

floss

wear sunscreen

don't tell people you snuck into the heart

mix equal parts malibu rum and 7up

be thankful for what you have

dance

sing

love

don't move
don't talk out of time
don't think
don't worry

always wear your safety belt

turn each song into a prayer

Live simply.

Give without expecting to receive.

Appreciate the little things in life.

Eat to live, don't live to eat (that one is from Ben Franklin).

Seek God and he will answer you.

live like there is no tomorrow!
cry like it is your last tear
laugh until your sides hurt
work with integrity
love with passion
sing with abandonment

ok i just made that up because everyone else was being so profound!
oh yeah and - drink red wine in abundance!

Don't just work hard, have pride in the work you do. Be motivated by failure.

Call your parents - end the conversation with "I love you."

Realize that being sincere and expressing your feelings does not make you "gay" (not that there is anything wrong with that) or "weak."

Speak up for yourself. Sometimes self-promotion is the ONLY promotion you'll get.

Realize that there are times when you must move on. Do this without regret, but cherish the times you had.

Most importantly, look at the world around you - really look. You'll be amazed by the beauty you see.

Awww.. so sweet
