Smile, you're reading my post
One man come in the name of love
One man come and go
One man come, he to justify
One man to overthrow

In the name of love
What more in the name of love
In the name of love
What more in the name of love

One man caught on a barbed wire fence
One man he resist
One man washed on an empty beach.
One man betrayed with a kiss

In the name of love
What more in the name of love
In the name of love
What more in the name of love

Early morning, April 4
Shot rings out in the Memphis sky
Free at last, they took your life
They could not take your pride

In the name of love
What more in the name of love
In the name of love
What more in the name of love
In the name of love
What more in the name of love...

I was watching TV that day and I remember seeing the special report when it happened. I even remember watching his funeral. I was just thinking about starting a thread with this title. Thank you.

Just a week and half ago I was standing in the former Lorraine Hotel paying homage to this man that changed my world...let it rain..rain on him....

They'll never take your pride, Dr. King.

I dig my toes into the sand. The ocean looks like a 1,000 diamonds strewn across a blue plain. I lean against the wind, pretend that I am weightless. And in this moment I am happy... happy.

Great minds think alike!

I just realized that you posted this here in this forum which I seldom visit, and I posted a similar thread in FYM, my home.

Nonetheless, a fitting tribute today for Dr. King.
