I was seriously dropping my jaw when i first heard it - what a beautiful GEM this song is...(and i can't get enough of it now)

When was it recorded (and for what occasion)? How come it's only Bono and Larry?

The song is a Jimmie Rodgers song, and Bono and Larry recorded it as part of a Jimmie Rodgers tribute album released in 1997. I'm not sure why it's only the two of them, actually.
