Can anyone tell me about this song? I just heard it for the first time a little while ago. I believe it is Bono solo, not U2. Just wondering who wrote it, and what project it was recorded for. Thanks!

Hello,

This song is from the tribute album to Jimmie Rogers. He was a (very) early country artist and apparently one of the big influences of Bob Dylan. Anyway, I believe the tribute album was released in 1995 or 1996 and Dreaming With Tears In My Eyes features Bono and Larry (drumming of course).
