hey, I like how you said Pop erupted because its sort of true.. dormant when it came out but I think U2 fans (especially newer ones) have finally realized that its almost an Achtung

For whatever reason, Pop has been overlooked by fans and critics alike. Personally, I rank it third in terms of best overall U2 album, following The Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby respectively!
