I had a guy tell me once that Edge was a decent funk guitar player. He said there was a little Parliament Funkadelic to the Edge. I've heard many compliments thrown Edge's way over the years, but this one was unique. I can see a little funk prowess here and there, but I never considered Edge to be an heir of George Clinton. What do u guys think?

Edge knows everything!

Even if he doesn't play "funk" per se, I see a funk sensibility in his live improvisations. He's not afraid to be different, to take risks.

in the popmart video, i thought some parts of HMKMTMKM were quite funky IMO. Funk:drool:

I'm sure the Edge has a degree in all kinds of music. I'd like to see him do a Chili Peppers cover.

he knows how to do the funky chicken

But he's not the funky chicken himself, Adam Clayton.
