did anything ever come of the Salome Outtake Shes Gonna Blow Your House Down

I dunno why I never noticed this song before but I mean even being on a boot like this I mean even then it had a lot of potential.


Did anything happen to it or did it evolve into another song ?

Yeah, it existed into the AB sessions as well (explaning Salome). The song structure itself didn't evolve into anything, though I think "Wake Up Dead Man" was used as a chorus for that song once as well.

Vertigo kind of reminds me of that song...somewhat. That's a hyperactive song, with a lotta whooping and hollering. Would've stuck out like a sore thumb on AB, but it might have fit in this album.

yeah, on the salome boot you can hear the lyrics evolve and the chorus becomes "wake up, better wake up dead man..." it was a great song. two songs i'd love to hear are wake up dead man and the wanderer (with bono on vocals), both from the zooropa era.
