From U2.com on Danny Lanois:

'Never Too Quiet in the Studio'
" ' I like being in the room with U2 and Eno. We are a nice assembly, a nice congregation!' Earlier in the week Danny Lanois took time out from working with the band on the new record to talk with John Kelly from Irish arts show 'The View'. Watch it here.

In a lengthy and candid interview Danny recalls how he first got into music, the gospel acts which used to perform in his mother's Ontario basement, 'the sound' he heard one night which changed his life, producing landmark recordings with The Neville Brothers, Bob Dylan and Emmylou Harris... and how it really works in the studio with Larry, Edge, Adam and Bono.

'Everyone has an appetite for innovation,' he explains. 'It never gets too quiet in the U2 studio.'

As well as some very fine studio footage with U2 down the years, Danny also picks up the guitar to perform one of his own new songs. Great viewing, not to be missed - catch it all here"
