City of Blinding Lights and Sonic the Hedgehog

For the first couple of weeks, I could not figure out what the intro to City of Blinding Lights reminded me of. Then in hit me- it sounds like the first level in Sonic Heroes. Has anyone else played this game and thought the same thing?
