Can someone please explain the meaning behind....

all the different versions of "Electrical Storm"???

Sorry to rehash this but how many confirmed versions are there? I am aware of the BBC DEMO, William Orbit (which seems to be the one being streamed on U2.com), the Video version (which has a softer beginning) and the version I hear on the radio claiming to be William Orbit (which is like the video, minus the rockin guitar riff at the end).



I have heard 4. How many are there really???? and does anyone know if they will all be available either on the Single or Best of CD? (minus the BBC Demo of course).

To the best of my knowledge, there are 3:

1) BBC Demo version
2) William Orbit mix. This is the mix with the softer beginning (the one used in the video).
2) Single version. I think this is what you are calling the William Orbit Mix. It has harder guitars at the beginning.

Please don't tell me there are more versions. My head might have to start exploding again.

I think the rumor of the fourth version was the so called album version....which is actually the single version, but a lower quality rip.

As far as I know the Album and Single version are going to be the same.
