having listened to some of my unofficial u2 stuff, I think there is such a strong arguement for the release of a cd with the likes of Levitate, Love you like mad, native son and alternate versions of songs on it. JEEZ......there is some amazing stuff that had been dropped. Fair enuff, its not polished, but still kicks ass and I would certainly buy it!
I remember thinkin this wen i heard the AB demos around 1991, with the likes of the real funky version, of which later became EBTTRT

I don't think i have ever heard Levitate..
I would buy a CD of alternate versions though

maybe someone who knows a bit more about the unofficial stuff will reply now :giggle:
 
Don't confuse unofficial (AB outtakes) with unreleased songs.

Yeah actually the majority of the unreleased songs that came out with the iTunes "box set" were pretty good.

I had forgottten bout that bonovox....eek! Makes ya wonder what, if any other gems have not been heard by us lot? Am sure there must be a reserve should there ever be a "rainy day"
