I bought a DVD player for no reason?

I guess I'm not very patient.

Don't worry SG, the DVD player was a good investment...
the DVD will last you a lot longer. My ZooTV sidney tape is almost done in. plus VHS is far far far worse picture quality and sound quality than a DVD. If you buy a DVD player, it is never a waste of money.

It's like saying you bought a CD player fro no reason when you already have a cassette player in your den.

Also Sicy-The DVD of Rattle and Hum is much better quality too,IMO-well, there are no added features though.

And you should get the Making Of The Joshua Tree DVD-it's good. It's in some series called 'Classic Albums'.

Not to mention all the great movies on DVD.

The Joshua Tree DVD is just a documentary of how they made the album-it's very interesting-w/interviews,etc-hot Larry shots too

AS far as I know-that and R&H are the only DVD's they have-they need to put out all their VHS stuff onto DVD.

I dunno, lotsa ye seem to be a bit

cause ye can't get the DVD, or maybe it's just cause ye want a DVD, but my best friend, also a mad U2 fan, went into our local HMV, said there was no DVD's left, but heaps of VHS's of the show, I dunno if he is right, but he seemed positive, and said they were ?18, compared to the ?32 of the DVD, but of course no extras.
Is this right? If so, stop whining!

Anyway, I got it on DVD, and it ROCKS!
