A beautiful and moving speech.:heart:

It is now up on the website in two forms: abbreviated (13 mins) and full (>30 mins).

http://www.ted.com/ted2005/moments/index.cfm

Background:
The acclaimed musician and global activist Bono, Canadian photo-artist Edward Burtynsky, and Medical technologies pioneer Robert Fischell are the remarkable winners of the inaugural TED Prize. Each recipient has been granted THREE WISHES to be revealed at the next TED conference, February 23-26, 2005 in Monterey, CA. Many members of the TED Community, and a group of world-class companies, have pledged support to help fulfill these wishes. Each winner will also receive $100,000 to be spent however they choose in support of their wishes.

Excellent! Thanks!

Now if someone could manage to "borrow" the video file

:shifty:

Great speech- although it's exactly the same as the one that he gave to the Labour Party conference last year here in the UK.

thank you, olive, for posting the link.
