I guess it sounded better for Bono to say the case was stolen by two groupies, rather than he just forgot it. Doesn't sound like he was too concerned about getting it back either. Maybe Adam was right...Bono "lost" the case because his lyrics were shite.:wink:

I like this part though.

That would be consistent with numerous published accounts. According to U2 at the End of the World by Bill Flanagan, band members almost dissolved the group in 1981 because they thought being in a rock band conflicted with their Christianity.
