Bono was in Venice....

staff who report that Bono is in Venice, not in
New York City as reported by the BBC News24
service.

A friend of U2star.com staff actually saw Bono
today in Venice and told him about the terrorist
attacks in the United States. Bono expressed his
condolences to the American people.

Bono is in Italy working on the "Gangs of New York"
soundtrack.

Everyone can breathe again.

Yesterday, it sure was scary to hear that rumor-that he was at the WTC-supposedly started on the BBC.

And anyone who thinks people were just concerned w/ him and not all the other victims-I saw some posts in that vein yesterday-that is not true.

Understandably, on a U2 forum, people would be concerned w/ the safety of Bono and the others, if they were in NYC.
