Sounds to me like a complete waste of time. Costello was obviously not willing to even consider changing any foreign aid policies. As he said he was only meeting with Bono cause it was the 'polite thing to do.'
He came across as extremely patronising towards Bono too, the way he described him as a 'charming man.'
