Is that the "Beatles are bigger than Jesus" quote? I can't imagine Bono saying that (unnecessary John Lennon pun...).

Of course Bono is human, but we admire him because he "dreams out loud" and strives to be the absolute best person he can be. That's something to be at least admired for, but not worshipped, in a religious sense.

I think if he yelled at me, I would've been upset, not flattered. He apologized, and in the end, the whole thing was a very human moment.

The sooner we all realize we are not perfect or not any better than anyone else--the better off we all will be. I think Bono is a humble person--he tries to love more than hate & knows he is not perfect. He is my idol but I do not worship him.

Obviously Bono doesn't actually think he's God. His real persona is very different from his stage one, I mean you couldn't live a life that famous without separating the two anyway. On stage he is LIKE God, because when you have that many people worshipping your every move it's understandable. I mean if he tells you to sing something, you sing it without question. But off-stage he doesn't come across that way to me at all.
