Best U2 pop song?

IMO Sweetest thing was their first pop song. Also Wild honey.

'Ultra Violet' and 'Some Days are Better' both could have been big pop songs if they were edited a little more before release, or if they had a cool remix.

Sweetest Thing and IGWSHA were the only big U2 pop style songs.

The 4 big RnH songs I consider more Rock, than pop.

Babyface could come close too.

The thing is, I don't like referring to POP as "popular," but more of as a particular genre of it's own. Otherwise, it's WAY too broad. U2, Linkin' Park, Norah Jones, Eminem, Green Day - all pop music according to the "popular" definition. Whenever I think POP music, I think easily accessible, mellifluous and melodic pieces of music without thrashing guitars or subdued harmonies. Then again, it's all subjective, anyway...

It's simple, go to a record store and see where they are categoirized. If it's in the POP section then it is so. I think there is a uniformity on all record stores on which cd's belong to pop and which don't. U2 is definitely in the pop/rock section.
