They're seeded from the outcome in Album Survivor. More popular albums get more songs in the final. The top four (UF, JT, Achtung, Pop) get four songs; the middle four (Boy, War, Zooropa, ATYCLB) get three; all other categories get two.

The number of songs an album send onto semis/finals depends on its ranking in the album survivor dealy we did before this.
