I actually hate Vertigo more, but hate even more that Fez is even in this round at all.

Fez. I really like it, but it really doesn't hold a candle to the other songs here and is nowhere near as experimental as some here would have you believe. If "experimental" was the goal of the band, then it's a miserable failure. Good song, but over-rated here.

Vertigo, on the other hand, is the perfect rock song. Great riff, great vocals, catchy as hell, fun and rocking live. Massive worldwide success, so it is the obvious choice to vote off first round these parts.

I don't think it's particularly experimental. But I do think it's the most inspired, unique thing they've done in a long time.

And yes, Vertigo is the obvious choice because everyone hates success, which is why it was one of the two winners from Atomic Bomb. WE'RE SUCH HIPSTERS.

Word. As is Pretty Vacant. Vertigo doesn't even register in my top 100 rock songs of all time. Granted, it is catchy. But so are some Nickleback songs.
