11 O'Clock Tick Tock
Love Comes Tumbling
The Three Sunrises
Luminous Times
Spanish Eyes
Lady With The Spinning Head / UV1
Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me
The Ground Beneath Her Feet

I just wanted to say that it's kind of amazing that a track that was never officially released, that we only have a leaked, un-mastered version of, finished as the 9th best non-album track of their career. I know we're only a couple dozen people here, but still. Should tell the band something.

Spanish Eyes, Luminous Times and The Three Sunrises are the weak links here. What remains would be a perfectly respectable top 5.

It's been awhile since I had to think about what to vote for. I think I'll have to go with Luminous Times even though I really love it. Sometimes I wonder what it could have been if they'd saved it, let it marinate and then put it next to Heartland on Rattle & Hum.

Either that or at least given it a go on Lovetown!

Was "stuck" with only The Best Of 80-90/B-Sides to listen to while housesitting the other week and loved it, definitely appreciate Luminous Times a lot more these days, wouldn't have been rooting for it to stay in a few years ago.

Agreed with what namckuR said about Spanish Eyes in the last thread

The only thing I don't love about it is Bono's execution of the word 'love' in 'I love the way talk to me' etc in the studio version. It's a bit rough.

That definitely grates on me these days and was very aware of it when it came on in the car with my girlfriend the other day

I've voted early for Spanish Eyes, as it seems Luminous Times might be in danger and I felt I had to help protect it.

I fucking adore Luminous Times, but we've reached that point in the tournament. In a pure ranking I would put The Three Sunrises and TGBHF below it, but you lunatics are going after Spanish Eyes, the second-best song here, and I'll do what I can to oppose that.

Couldn't pick between the two so starting my 11 O'Clock Tick Tock voting early

Luminous Times is far more soulful than Spanish Eyes. Spanish Eyes is a great fun, but Luminous Times is art.

Challenge accepted

1. Love Comes Tumbling
2. TGBHF
3. HMTMKMKM
4. LWTSH
5. 11OCTT
6. The Three Sunrises
7. Luminous Times
8. Spanish Eyes

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the elimination order tbh

1. Luminous Times
2. Love Comes Tumbling
3. Lady With The Spinning Head
4. Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me
5. The Ground Beneath Her Feet
6. 11 O'Clock Tick Tock
7. Spanish Eyes
8. The Three Sunrises

Or something like that. Top six could change from day to day, just really hard to rank them.

7 and 8 are interchangeable.

1. 11 O'clock Tick Tock
2. Spanish Eyes
3. Lady With the Spinning Head
4. Love Comes Tumbling
5. HMTMKMKM
6. Luminous Times
7. The Three Sunrises
8. The Ground Beneath Her Feet

Maybe swap 3 and 4.

Luminous Times is far more soulful than Spanish Eyes.

This is a criticism from me.

Spanish Eyes is one of the most perfectly catchy songs they've written, and the closest Edge ever got to a pure jangle.

1. Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me
2. Luminous Times
3. The Three Sunrises
4. The Ground Beneath Her Feet
5. 11 O'Clock Tick Tock
6. Love Comes Tumbling
7. Lady With the Spinning Head
8. Spanish Eyes

HMTMKMKM is their best non-album track for me hands down. AB - Zooropa era is my favorite. This song is a perfect kickass coda to the early 90s U2.

HMTMKMKM is their best non-album track for me hands down. AB - Zooropa era is my favorite. This song is a perfect kickass coda to the early 90s U2.

I know its initial genesis was in the Zooropa sessions, but I've always associated it more with the late 90s era, especially since it was played every night on Popmart as if it were one of the tour's new songs.

Spanish Eyes to save Luminous Times.

The Three Sunrises might be the biggest surprise packet. I adore the song, and am happy it has come this far. but I thought that it might have been eliminated by now.

Lady With The Spinning Head is sitting pretty, not attracting much attention. I'm more keeping it around for the brilliant Extended Dance Mix version though.

I'll be voting for The Three Sunrises soon, yeah. I don't know why it's still here when so many great TUF b-sides were ousted almost immediately.

Luminous Times again

Also, I just listened to A Room At The Heartbreak Hotel for the first time in a while. Nothing outstanding, but a fun song. Looking at the results, it shouldn't have left so soon.

Spanish to save Luminous. ... it s getting strategical.
Pitty Mercy got kicked, it is a Masterpiece even if some people rant about thé quality. Imagine with a good mixing what it could have been....

I'm still voting lady with the spinning head.
