beach clip 409 IS a strokes song

i take back calling it "unreleased" - i meant "unreleased by the strokes" (as far as i know). but it definitely appears to be the same song that is on the strokes website. maybe the strokes were doing a cover, too ??

I'm a Strokes fan, so yes I see similarities, but I don't think it's them.

this is all weird. I am thinking it must be some other song, and U2 were covering it, or Bono was singing over it, or something. I don't think it's a Strokes song OR a U2 song. but Bono is definitely the one singing in the beach clip.

does this mean I have to change my sig?? i still like the song, whoever wrote it

It's a great sound. I don't think it's a cover of JD's Transmission...it's too different. I also don't think this is U2 at all in 409. I may be wrong. It really does sound like The Strokes clip, however, and also a lot like The Arcade Fire--it's reminiscent of their song Haiti at certain places.
