Well matey, without being negative, I wish to formally complain about your negative response to complaining about negativity, this is an apallingly negative attitude towards negative threads.*

NB: If 2 negatives make a positive, what does that many negatives make??? *the mind boggles*

Haha, point taken.

However, I believe the five "negative"s used in that sentence constitutes even more negativity. And I would also like to point out that your negativity is having a negative impact on my negativity to complaining about negative people negatively complaing about negative people who complain about negativity in negative threads.

...Or something.

I don't understand how anyone can hate HTDAAB.

These songs rock. They are uplifting. They run the emotional gamut.
Vertigo: kick ass, raw rock song.
MD: kick ass, uplifting song, ala Beautiful Day.
SYCMIOYO: beautiful, emotional heartfelt song.
LaPoE: bluesy, groovy, cool song.
CoBL: dramatic, uplifting, ala Streets
ABOY: raw, kick ass song
Man and Woman: Sweet-sounding, sweep her off her feet song.
Crumbs: cool, easy-going head-bobbing song.
OSC: nice, slow, Springstreen-eque song.
OTSC: Beatle-esque, uplifting song.
Yahweh: pure uplifting, great ending for a song.
Fast Cars: cool, Middle-Eastern, Mexican vibe song.

There you go. I don't think they can make this album better. It's perfect.

Hm...
Ok, but I would just add a word called "wannabe" in some of your descriptions... (not all of them!)

Thats exactly why this song is the absolute worst on the record IMO.. I dont find it uplifting at all. I dislike it with a passion

But otherwise bomb is great

An album doesn't necessarily have to be "themed". Furthermore, some of the weakest tracks U2 have ever recorded, IMO, have been due to this "theme" element (on JT).

I adore HTDAAB! So no negativity from me.

Maybe the songs are not so good then, but album is much better IMO. (on JT:wink: )
