Oh yeah, he was a big U2 fan. He originally introduced himself to me because I had a U2 patch on my jacket. I remember taking him to the Rattle & Hum movie when it was released. He was so grateful. The day he confessed to me, he told me he was scared of spending years in jail, the publisher was livid and had mass charges against him. He disappeared from this area around 1989. Vanished. I just assumed he went back to LA. Bounty hunter found him? I just don't know. By the way, he was very gentle and nice man who had tangled with the wrong people.
