Any Suggestion for songs about Man's Inhumanity to Man?

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

I have to do this senior project, and we have to show through various media a theme, mine being man's inhumanity to man. My thoughts on some songs for this include Sunday Bloody Sunday, Love and Peace or Else, and Bullet the Blue Sky, but I was wondering if people had other ideas/suggestions too.

The higher that the monkey can climb
The more he shows his tail
Call no man happy 'til he dies
There's no milk at the bottom of the pail
God builds a church
The devil builds a chapel
Like the thistles that are growing
'round the trunk of a tree
All the good in the world
You can put inside a thimble
And still have room for you and me
If there's one thing you can say
About mankind
There's nothing kind about man
You can drive out nature with a pitch fork
But it always comes roaring back again

Misery's the river of the world
Misery's the river of the world
Misery's the river of the world

(Not U2 but more fun.)

Sunday Bloody Sunday, Please, and Peace on Earth are all about bombings in Northern Ireland.

Yes, Staring at the Sun and a lot of Pop talks about peace talks falling apart in Ireland that year- "Intrasigence all around, military's still in town, armored plated suits and ties, daddy just won't say goodbye, referee won't blow the whistle, God is good but will he listen?"

Crumbs From Your Table

"Would you deny for others,
What you demand for yourself?"

And

"Where you live should not decide
whether you live or whether you die
Three to a bed, Sister Ann she said,
Dignity passes by."

Or Like A Song

"Angry words won't stop the fight,
Two wrongs won't make it right,
A new heart is what I need,
Oh, God, make it bleed"

But, yeah, all the other songs and these two are the best for that topic.
In fact, I have to do an oral presentation soon, I might just steel your topic. (If you don't mind -- I live in a different country, so it shouldn't matter, but I won't do it if you have a problem :))

SBS, Please, and Mothers of the Disappeared. The others people mentioned are also related, but these 3 are the best!

Staring at the Sun is really good too, but it might be hard to dissect the verses as being about terrorism (choruses and bridge, maybe...)

sunday bloody sundays a good start, being a huge bob dylan fan using some of his protest songs could also be good.

Who Killed Davey Moore and The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carrol would be good choices

not to mention this verse from A Hard Rains A-Gonna Fall

Oh, what did you see, my blue-eyed son?
Oh, what did you see, my darling young one?
I saw a newborn baby with wild wolves all around it
I saw a highway of diamonds with nobody on it,
I saw a black branch with blood that kept drippin',
I saw a room full of men with their hammers a-bleedin',
I saw a white ladder all covered with water,
I saw ten thousand talkers whose tongues were all broken,
I saw guns and sharp swords in the hands of young children,
And it's a hard, and it's a hard, it's a hard, it's a hard,
And it's a hard rain's a-gonna fall.

Now back to U2 choices, maybe Bullet Blue Sky

Oh Seconds would also be a good choice now that I think bout it

hope that helps a bit
