Another rumor about the release date

Yeah, that's right. We have another one!
A guy from the U2place.com forum has said that he knows someone from Universal Italy who has stated that the album will be released on November 22nd(which is monday) and the single will be out on October 1st(which is friday).
Do singles get released on fridays?

In a related story, U2Tunisia.org reports that the new U2 album was released last Thursday and that the first single was released back in 1987. A second single should be released in August...or June...maybe...don't know if I believe it though...
