with the possible album announcement approaching, when did u2/Interscope announce Beautiful Day as the first single for ATYCLB? can any of you remember? ans what other details did they say.

Bono has been talking exclusively to Radio 1 about U2's new album and the first single called "Beautiful Day."


That's the first time it's mentioned in the AtU2.com archives.

So basically 3 months before the album came out.
Something will come out in the next few weeks.

Sydney 2000 games started Sept. 15.
Athenas will start Aug. 13.
