Now that we've seen the Portugal pics, which will at least be in the album's booklet, if not on the cover, were the band is in a empty pool.....what do you think the title of the new album will be?

My guesses are........Hollow Ground, Vacancy, or Caught in a (something)

Just like how ATYCLB was almost called:

Monochrome
Stuck in an airport
Delayed flight
Where's gate 512?

just to remember that they haven't been to portugal just to take pics in the empty pool...

The title will be Empty Portuguese Pool. U2's going for that obvious feeling.

they'll probably go with one of those long names like ATYCLB or such song titles TTTYAATW or Stuck in a Moment you can't get out of. I'm thinking like "Here's the Pool Where the Baby from Nirvana's Nevermind Once Tried to Grab Some Money"

Solar?
Winter?
Open Arms?
Full Metal Jacket?

It could be anything, but it better not be a cop out self titled album....

Sparky return = an album sleeve pic like he did it on Achtung Baby?
:eeklaugh:

I don't know...empty pool, discotheque (sic) and an industrial area - I liked the title Dragon, for all the talk about the energy and lots of guitars.
If it will be about Bono's father, 9/11, AIDS etc...I could see why Winter would be appropriate title.

I prefer Barely Legible Track Names for BLTN.

Personally, I think Solar Winter would be a really cool title.

I think it will be called "Better late than never", also known on the forum as BLTN.

I support that idea, nice title (and very real)

In 20+ years, U2 has never had a self-titled album. Even their first EP was called Three. That's something to take notice of. The Beatles went with a few self titles, U2 has none.

Hehe,
