AIDS World Day

Today (Dec. 1, 2001) is AIDS World Day. I'm gonna be in plane all day making my way to Miami, so I can't light a candle but my prayer and thoughts will be with everyone that has died and is suffering of this disease.

In honor I suggest everyone go to http://www.aaaw.org/ and send out an e-mail or better yet do it the old fashioned way. It's a lot more effective.

I hear that during halftime of the San Francisco 49'ers game this weekend they will be celebrating and there will be a message from Bono to the crowd played on the monitors. AAAW is also getting some more recognition as they will be headlining the Billboard Awards in Vegas on the 4th so also keep a lookout for that.

More publicity = more people. More people = faster solution. Get involved if you are not already.

Almost every person in my high school wore a "rubber" bracelet. I wore two, so did many other people. Every day in Africa it's September 11th...pray.
