Adam Clayton Tour de Force

I have to say, Adam has always been a great (if simplistic) bass player and a key to the U2ness of U2, but he has become one of the absolute premier rock bassists. Every song on this on album (especially LPOE and AMAAW) is an astonishing display. Hats off to the man that worked so hard.

Plus he is the coolest motherf**ker on the planet. Posh.

It always pisses me off when he gets so much stick..

U2 wouldn't be U2 without him.

I need to pay more attention to the bassline one LAPOE. He is nails on COBL and AMAAW though.

Somebody in this forum said that Adam didn't played bass in "AMAAW". Is this true, false, or neutral???

The bassline in LAPOE was a Brian Eno treatment, but I think he plays on AMAAW as far as I know.
