Acrobat...Sinead O'Connor?

Maybe this has been discussed before, but a few months ago I saw the clip of Sinead getting booed off the stage at some Music Awards show after she had ripped up the pic of the Pope on SNL (back in '90?).

Anyway, Kris Kristofferson (sp?) greets her as she walks off stage and he's miked and says "don't let the bastards get you down" to Sinead.

I am assuming this is where Bono got the line for Acrobat?

Also, some lyrics seem to be referencing Sinead

"When I first met you girl, you had fire in your soul...what happened to your face of melting snow?"

Anyone know if this jives?
