Achtung-Zoo Era Playlist Thread

I'd like to make a playlist/compilation cd with songs from the Zoo Era like The Fly, Lady With The Spinning Head, Night And Day, Zoo Station, Alex Descends Into Hell, Even Better Than The Real Thing, The Lounge Fly Mix etc. I'm trying to really capture the dance element of the time and avoid traditional songs like One and Satellite Of Love. Suggestions?

Great list, Katie! I'm gonna play it right now. Not so sure about the First Time though. It's not exactly danceable. Actually, my intent was to capture the dance explosion of 1991/1992 and not include stuff from Zooropa but that's okay. What about Where Did It Go Wrong? Is it danceable? I've never heard it.

totally spazzed out and forgot about the dance part of your op by the time i made that list. oh well. any songs that don't fit, please replace with even better than the real thing.

Not the new mix of Numb...the added vocals seriously take away from the dance/trip-out vibe of the song.

There are three versions that I know of. The first was recorded for the red hot and blue thing and I think that's what's used in the video...either that or steel string mix I'm not sure. Steel String Mix is the one on the 'one' single. The third is the one that was in the unreleased&rare part of the digital boxed set.

I'm fairly certain the original, NOT steel strings, was used for the video.

yeah, the regular version is used for the video. steel strings mix is a lot different...

Twilight Mix, is a little more like the regular version... but has more of an added drum thing going and all jivey-like.
