This is an interesting story...
One of my friends goes to Malibu Vineyard church. Last night at church, a gentleman from Ireland got up and spoke about church building activities, supported by Malibu Vineyard, in Ireland.
According to my friend the majority of people at the church are in love with U2 and the pastor announced that this Irishman was the man who had led Bono to Christ and also married Bono and Ali. I thought this was amazing. Anyway, many people from the church asked the man questions about Bono and his faith. The man replied and said that Bono is in fact a very strong Christian and his personal life and beliefs still resemble in many ways those of his youth. I guess that answers the debate about Bono and his spritiual life.
Bono and the man are still extremely close friends and the man will be attending the U2 LA show tonight. I wonder if Bono will do anything special in honor or tribute to a man who has had such an impact on his life?
