This morning I happen to hear "Dreaming with tears in my eyes" -- a wonderful song, and a very nice interpretations from Bono.

It's from the CD The Songs of Jimmie Rodgers: A Tribute released in '97. Bono is actually credited for electric guitar, electric bass along with the vocals, of course. Paul Barrett, the producer of the track, is on piano.

Yes it's a lovely song, so sad that I can barely listen to it though.

It's a cover of a Jimmie Rodgers song and was released on this tribute album in 1997.
