Thats a very good list with one glaring omission. I can't believe you left out Beautiful Day. I would change that for one of ABOY, Angel of Harlem or Original of the species.

Also i would have the single version of Walk On instead, which to me is an improvement on the outstanding album version.

I would substitute Beautiful Day for Elevation, if this is for someone you are trying to convert. But that's a pretty good list.

TOO MUCH HTDAAB why ? Original of the Species is the worst U2 crap I've ever heard. Those "do do do do " really bother me . No other Bono's singing upset me at that level of angry and shame.

Unchained Melody ? No, you are putting out quintessential songs like Please, Stay, Bad or Sunday Bloody Sunday !!!

Also, even though it would be stupid to take it out, as it's probably one of U2's most popular songs, I'd take Pride out just by personal choice. I'd ditch Pride and put something like Bullet The Blue Sky in instead.

Oh it's great, don't get me wrong. I love it, but it doesn't work in a trying to introduce U2 to someone sense. Maybe do 2 discs. One that introduces U2 to someone and the other show the "other side" of U2, more experimental and covers.
