Joe Strummer really did a bang-up job on this one, and I'm glad Bono gave it such a powerful delivery; I'm sure he would have been proud. And since I haven't seen it praised ("American Prayer" seems to be hogging the limelight), I was wondering what everyone else thinks of it.

Oh, I'm obsessed with this song. I'm even quoting it in my AIM profile right now. Very good job, Bono.

The first six waves
Might break in the bay
But the seventh breaks on the shore
It's a long walk
A long walk to freedom

meh

just give me a new album.

i know it's for a good cause and all, but it just doesn't give me the chills like a new U2 song would.

it takes them WAY too long to make albums.
