Maybe smaller venues and fewer shows in the future but no tour at all? I think the day U2 stops touring is the day U2 starts dying.
Another similarity in these two eras is the overload (oversaturation?) of U2 releases - U2 put out a movie, a book and an album, one year after a major tour and album.
In 2006, we had the Sydney DVD, U2 by U2, U2:18 with a 10 song DVD. While the Vertigo tour was still going on.
