At 19, I left a humanitarian college work-study early for a west-coast U2 trip. This was my last gig before going home for the Pontiac Silverdome show, the first stadium show ever.

The same day I hung out with Lone Justice's Maria McKee at a huge peace and justice rally, Bono mentioned the protest explicitly during the Bullet the Blue Sky.

My guestlist seats were usually lower bowl, side-stage. This night, someone who knew my love traded me for front row center.
