ONE love, blood, life
We've had 2 very nice pieces of news this week, both deserve serious attention:
1: Bill Flanagan, longtime U2 friend /fan has this to say ""I've heard it, it's great. It's the best album they have ever done. It's going to knock them out!"
2: Neil McCormick "the songwriting refers to practically every stage of U2?s development," McCormick continues, "so it?s quite a backward looking album in that, but it?s got a more unified Edge-driven sound. Y?know, Edge has always been the musical genius in U2 and not given the credit with people talking of Bono all the time. Bono is the psyche and the driving force of U2, but Edge is the musical wizard, and this feels like an Edge record."
We're not going to get 11 songs that sound like HMTMKMKM or The Fly. We're going to get the "complete" U2 record, like JT or AB: ballads, stormers, pop tunes, and strange ones. Sounds perfect to me.
