Something For Kate - an Aussie band which is not actually "bad", it's just that I can't stand their singer and his annoying overwrought emoting that sucks the life out of their songs. Maybe I'll change my mind if he sings differently in the future.

Gotta disagree re. Something For Kate, but why bother? I can see why you might perceive him as being the same as all that overdone psuedo-grunge that was big a few years ago, but he's not really like that at all.

I don't mind overdone pseudo-grunge, it's just that I dislike this one particular voice. Which is admittedly quite strange cause a great many singers have a similar vocal style, yet they don't irritate me at all.
