Here we go, from the Bureau:

In Melbourne 36.2mm of rain was recorded in the 24 hours to 9am and this was the
highest one day total since 26th February 2006. The 24hour totals to 9am were
typically 35-50mm right across the metropolitan area with areas to the southeast
and also the west recording higher totals.

I moved here in January 2007!
