i've lived in massachusetts for 5 and a half years and i've never heard anyone call a water fountian a bubbler...

I had never heard it called a water fountain until I came to college :hmm:

And I get made fun of all the time for calling it a bubbler

U have lived in this state almost my entire life....and I call it a Bubbler.

I always get the "You're from Mass... aren't you?" comment when someone hears me say bubbler... or barrel when I'm looking for a trash can :|

Hmmmm....I grew up in a southwest suburb of Chicago. I feel I should be more yankee than this.

Do people actually call gym shoes sneakers? Whats wrong with calling them gym shoes? Why is this centered in Chicago? hmmmm....
