she looked nothing like annie lennox
she even had her eyes closed on the high bits

but she really looked like a dork
maybe if i couldnt hear the music it wouldnt have been so bad
i mean i sing all the time in the car

Put another dime in the jukebox, baby!

Yeah, I'm a freak like that. I love kareoke, and shitty 80s music (primarily "new wave"). No, fuck that. It's good stuff!

i would sing 80's songs......they're usually so cheesy that everyone sings along....that way noone gets embaressed at knowing all the words to songs like agadoo....

Back home, I enjoy randomly breaking out into song when out with my friends.

I think I embarrass them sometimes.

Yeah, I should break that out tonight at our party!

u had me worried there for a minute

either you were at the gig on Friday night or you've peeked in my music book.
One of the TAFE diploma students "specialises" in 80's music. His new band was playing away and I was standing near one of the younger heavy metal loving students. He commented "Danny...single-handedly keeping the 80's alive"

Bit cruel, but i find a lot of wannabe musos are like that.

1780, 1880, 1980 all good:up:

I was playing a TV trivia game with some friends once and one of us had to answer a question about "The Facts of Life." We all started singing the theme song.

And what's really sad is we weren't even drinking at the time. :reject:

I just want you all to know I sang today in some heavy traffic. I was in my sister's car and the windows were wide open cos it was stinking hot.
Everyone suffered for my art today. :)

"THESE HERE ARE CRAZY TIMES
TRY KEEPING HEART AND MIND
FROM ROLLING OFF THE CHOPPING BOARD
KEEP YOUR CHIN UP AND CHOKE BACK THE TEARS
WHOA-OO ONION SKIN"

oh and she was singing 80s aussie rock!!!
that gets bonus points!

When my brother and I were little, we would always make mom play our Men at Work record, and we would sing and dance to "Land Down Under" over and over!!

I think it really depends which 80s songs.

I would concievably sing some 80s songs in public, including the following:

Fall On Me

Whereas others I might not. So really, it's all relative.
