Yeah, 'cause it's so out of place considering the other four titles:

The Phantom Menace
A New Hope
The Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi



As has been typically the case with the prequels, there are very few complaints that do not ALSO apply to the "Classic Trilogy." I believe the entire Saga should be praised for its intentional references to parts of our culture and history:

- WWII-type battles and dogfights
- Vader's samurai armor
- the archtypal wizard, farmboy, princess, and pirate
- the car chases, bar scenes, and diner scenes that have been done a thousand times before
- and, yes, even the titles that harken back to cheesy comic books

But if you will not praise Star Wars, at least be consistent in your criticism: the complaint about "Attack of the Clones" applies to the other four films.

At any rate, the title is clear, and it's understood how it applies to the film: there are clones, and they attack.

Exactly. You'd think it was based on a comic book or something. Everytime I see that preview I say, "What the hell? Why not just call it 'Ballistics'?"

The movie titles just keep getting worse and worse.

But alas, I'm seeing One Hour Photo tonight, and it should be awesome. Hopefully.

Every morning I drive past a billboard for this movie, and every day I think "what a dumb sounding movie".

Slap Her, She's French is coming out later this fall. Sounds like a quality film to me.

Deep Blue Sea

Shoulda been called Deep Blew See. Samuel L was killed early on, but LL Cool James was the hero, so i guess there's balance. For as mediocre the movie was, you'd maybe think the title would be reserved for some worthwhile Discovery Channel epic.

This should be easier...I work in a video store for crying out loud...

I always found the movie title "Whore" (yes, a real title...im not making it up) to be a bit over the top (try reading that out loud to a customer)...

Runner-up in my mind right now is the direct-to-video classic "Ice Grill", which the back cover accurately proclaims as "The story of playas with bling-bling". And it rents. Well.

I used to work in a video store too...some jerk-offs always calling the workplace asking for certain porn titles and asking me to repeat the title to make sure I got it right anyways...uh..yeah...as you were

I always thought Executive Decision was a bad title.

Timecop is pretty horrible.

Fight Club is also a pretty lame title, although the movie's great.
